4KB sector size, Case # 00735277

Hi,

I appreciate very much Veeam EP, I'm switching all my computer to use it, I've found on my MacBook Air (on Windows partition), I can't recover any files because as support said:

"...the disk in question has sectors that are 4KB in size. Such configuration is knows to be issues with the VSS. So at the moment it is not supported..."

But the backup process is going fine without any notice about this issue, would be better to inform the users that have 4KB sector size during the install or backup, that EP may will not work with their pc? this would be nice to avoid potential issue with important file recovery.

Yes, we are aware of this problem and the current plan is to provide support for 4KB sector sized disks in GA version.
