When I attempt to restore the wizard is unable to auto map the volumes and tells me to do a manual map.
When I load the manual screen, I am able to map the "System Volume" to my disk, but the C:\ is greyed out. I have a 2tb drive and the C: partition is only about 200gb, so it would easily fit. The drive I am mapping to says unallocated space... perhaps an issue there?
Any suggestions?
I'll boot with a windows cd, format the drive and then give it another try.

Re: Restore problem - Cant Map the C:\
Hi aeccles,
Wanted to clarify first are you performing volume restore inside OS or while running bare metal recovery?

Re: Restore problem - Cant Map the C:\
Thanks for the quick response but you can ignore this... I am all set. It was a sizing issue afterall. When I as right-clicking in the manual mode to map the C to the disk, it was showing me a different size than what was actually needed.

Re: Restore problem - Cant Map the C:\
Glad you nailed it, though I am still curious if the size was displayed incorrectly by restore UI or not?
