Stopping Start-VBRRecoverVM
Hi,
I can't seem to be able to find an equivalent to Stop-VBRJob for the restore command. Is this supported?
Seems like I can do it through the GUI - there's a 'Cancel restore task' link/button thing.
Thanks

What type of restore you're talking about? You can get a restore session via Get-VBRRestoreSession and then use one of stop commandlets, like Stop-VBRInstantRecovery, Start-VBRWindowsFileRestore, etc. Thanks.

Re: Stopping Start-VBRRecoverVM
I start the restore with the Start-VBRRecoverVM command.
I can see the session in the output of Get-VBRRestoreSession and this reports its type as 'Full VM Restore'.
I know about the other Stop-VBR... commands. The problem is I can't find a Stop-VBRRestoreVM or similar.

Re: Stopping Start-VBRRecoverVM
You mean Start-VBRRestoreVM, ok. Currently, full VM Restore Sessions are not listed by Get-VBRRestoreSession. Neither there is a Stop-VBRRestoreVM commandlet.
We'll think about adding those capabilities to our PS snap-in, though. Chances are, one of the upcoming versions will be able to boast with it.
Thanks.

Ok, that explains it. I'll be looking forward to the version that includes it.
Thank you

I've tracked this request. We'll consider adding this functionality down the road. Thanks.
