Is the Veeam backup and Replication use encryption or compression and if so can it be turned off?

Hello Stewart,

Yes, Veeam provides such functionality. You may enable/disable network traffic encryption while setting up the job. Veeam also allows you to adjust Compression levels from None to Best, you can change this value using Advanced Job Settings.
