Post by einsteinz »

Hi everyone !
Im new here.
I've windows 8.0 and trying to install veeam backup standard 8.0 and got this error when veeam try to start some services.: "Failed to start VeeamDeployment service". I tried to just ignore but when I open Veeam, the components update appear and I try to update it hang/loop infinitely . If I skip this update when I try a new backup repository it hang again to detecting existing power nfs installation...

I tried to repair/uninstall/reinstall /reboot without success

Hi,

Is it a 32 or 64 bit Windows box? Do you have all latest updates installed in the system? Additionally, please check what is generated in the Windows Event log regarding this issue.

Thanks!
