SureBackup

Post by frankive »

Hi.
Some of our customers with a few physical servers asks if it is possible with the upcoming Veeam Endpoint to somehow test their backup with surebackup if they have Veeam Backup and Replication installed locally?

Hello Frank,
Not in v1, since there is no P2V restore to the infrastructure.

If the customer uploads the file to our cloud connect we should be able to perform a manual restore (regular restore to hyper-v host) the manual way?
I know P2V is just a good effect of your software and not officially a feature.

Since restore from the regular backup consoles should be possible, then your scenario will also work fine.
