Backup Copy Job stopped working

Post by agran »

Hi,

I had to shuffle around storage for one of my VMS (adding/removing disks basically). This has got the veeam backup a bit confused, coudln't handle the offline disks (still tried to snaphsot them).
anyway, this is resolved, backup of my main backup jobs run fine.
Now my offsite backup copy job refuses to work. It always sits there saying "No up-to-date restore points available". I can't see why. The last file it copied is a couple of days old. My source backup job runs every day. copy job is set to run once a day. Triggering manually doesn't make a difference.
Any idea?

Obviously the correlation with the storage thing could just be coincidence. I also tried to clone the job, change timing etc, nothing worked.

regards
Alex

Have you tried re-adding the VM into the job?

Hi,
I have created the same job again. It started to copy immediately, which is kind of obvious, as the target repository is empty. Will see if it keeps copying tomorrow.

The fact that the job has also other VMs in it and doesn't copy them tells that the issue is not caused by the changes you've made to this particular VM. If the issues still persists, I recommend contacting technical support to take a look at your logs.
