I would like to suggest an feature request regarding tape jobs, I have had issues in the past regarding tape jobs making duplicate copies of backup files [case #00848613] which end up using far more tapes than needed and as a result cause issues with sending tapes off-site as scheduled, the opposite issue with that is if I want to for whatever reason create an new full tape backup I can't because the system knows that the files are already backed up. It would be very nice to have an option to perform an Active Full tape backup when desired just like you can with disk backup jobs.

Isn't virtual synthesized full backup created directly on tapes something you're looking for?It would be very nice to have an option to perform an Active Full tape backup when desired just like you can with disk backup jobs.
