Changing Backup window for multiple jobs

Post by marius roma »

We use "Backup Windows" to limit execution of backup and replica jobs during business hours.
When there is a bank holiday we change the "Backup Windows" to let jobs run during bank holidays, but we have to edit each replica and backup job before and after the bank holiday.
Is there any way to set the backup window for all the jobs, so that we can change it without editing each single job?

Backup window is per job option, not a global one. It should be possible to apply the same backup window settings to all jobs via PS, though.

Thank you for your answer.
What do you mean "It should be possible to apply the same backup window settings to all jobs via PS, though"? Do you mean PowerShell?
Where can I locate documentation about this specific subject?

Yep.

Online Help Center is a good starting point. If you want to discuss it further, kindly, create a thread in the corresponding subforum and I'll try to assist you with scripting.

Thanks.
