Looks like it is snapshot, the descriptor file, that has an issue. Did you just copy the entire VM to your NTFS folder?

By the way, you can always one a support case thru the Control Panel > Support and let our support team drill the logs.

Great! If possible, please, drop the case ID here, so I could ask QA team to check look into your logs.

Did you try to backup a running VM? Does this work with a powered off one?

Very good. But the VM was powered off when I backed it up.

The case ID is 00870349. The problem is gone, thoug. I usually use "hibernate", instead of "shutdown" and that might be the reason I had the error for several days. I believe it was "fixed" when I restarted my computer. You can close the case if you wish. Or if you are curious on what happened, I will answer any questions that you might have. Thanks for the assistance!

Offtopic: I wanted to change my username and e-mail address of this account. However, Gmail-Addresses are not allowed in here, says the error message on the user control panel. And usernames cannot be changed through the user control panel. Could you help me with that?

I can change you your username (please PM me the one you need), however free email addresses are, indeed, not allowed in these community forums.

Thanks for giving more details on the case, Dima might have additional questions if we are unable to reproduce it internally.
