EMC DD - Decompress data before storing

Hi,

I came across the EMC DD "official" topic, and it looks like that "decompress data before storing" boost significantly the performance when it comes to restores.

I have lot of backups already in our DD, i'd like to know which effect will have to enable that option while having backups already in the repo on already active jobs.

any idea?

The settings will be applied only to the newly-created backup files, the existing ones will stay intact.
