Hello everyone,
We're currently running Veeam 8 on a VMware 5.5 environment.
Currently we have two Repository servers, say repo1 and repo2. I'd like to add an additional hard drive to repo1 and server and use it as a repository. Is it best practice to ADD hard drive(s) to an existing repository server or to provision a NEW repository server altogether?
Thanks!

Re: Veeam Repository Server
Hi, Ed. Adding to the existing is fine as long as the repository server meets system requirements to be able to accommodate the required amount of concurrent jobs. Creating a new server is also an option. Neither of them is better or worse. Thanks!

Re: Veeam Repository Server
Thank you!
One last question. I noticed that I cannot this new drive to the existing repository configuration; which means that I have a to create a new Veeam Repository configuration that points to the same server, but this time I have to pick the new drive on the existing server, correct?

Re: Veeam Repository Server
If this new drive has different path, then you should add it as a separate repository. If you could just add capacity to existing repository, then new one would not be required.
