I want to perform a Windows inplace migration from Veeam 6.5 (on W2k3 64bit) to Veeam 8 (W2k12).
Is this way supported?
1. Windows inplace migration
2. Upgrade v6 to v8

Holger, in-place upgrade from v6.5 to v8 is supported, so your plan looks good. I just recommend to backup Veeam B&R configuration prior to the upgrade, just to be on the safe side. Also, please review the upgrade procedure outlined in the release notes document.
