Service: Disconnected

Post by Bastien »

Hi,

Installed monitor for vi3 on my vista. After a bit of fight to get over the "no data" issue.. It work like a charm.. seems pretty good at first sight.

When i get it to work the first time the: service passed from disconnected to connected. after couple of test, i closed the monitor to reopen it a bit later. Now the service is at disconnected but monitor seems to work ok... ?

Also how can we configure the alarm setting? (i saw the snmp setting but i guess there is more... like: where to send alarm and when to trigger?

Thanks

Bastien,
Yes, we know the "disconnected" issue, but thanks for noticing that.

In this build alarms are available only for a stand alone ESX host. Right click the host and select Add alarm.

Alarms for VC will be available on the next week.

On Windows Vista you need to run Veeam Monitor as administrator:

Right click on the Monitor icon and choose "Run As Administrator"
