SureBackup with Start To

Post by michaelryancook »

Hello all,

Is it possible to script a SureBackup job and define a start to time? I am trying to schedule a surebackup job that starts the same restore point each morning until our developers complete some testing on the restored VMs. I can schedule a surebackup job in the GUI but you cannot define a start to time in this way.

So, it's not the most recent restore point that you're willing to test? Currently, there is no Start To option in PS for SureBackup jobs.

That is correct. I am trying to start the same restore point each morning for a week so that developers are testing against the same app build.

I was pretty sure that was the case as I couldn't find anything in the v8 reference guide. Thanks for confirming Vladimir. This is a unique scenario and would not be done often.

Anyway, thank you Michael for the feedback. I will still track it as potential enhancement for one of future product versions. Thanks.
