Sharepoint AAIP requirements
Hello and TIA.
I must be missing something in the manual. I have AAIP setup for the backup of our Sharepoint server as well as for the backup of remote SQL server where the Sharepoint databases are stored. When I right-click the Sharepoint VM in Backups I don't get the application items menu. If I select the Sharepoint backup and then select Application Items --> Microsoft Sharepoint from the top menu then I get a warning about setting the SQL server under options. I have tried setting this to a staging SQL server and to the SQL server hosting the databases but after it mounts the Sharepoint backup, there are no databases listed.
Any ideas what I am missing?

What happens if you try to locate content database manually?

I think this method will work Vladimir. When I do this I get a warning that login failed for my account. My account does not have SQL or Sharepoint permissions. Maybe that is why the automatic method is not working as well? I am working with the DBAs to get an account with access to test.

It seems so, make sure the used account has all permissions as described here. Thanks.Maybe that is why the automatic method is not working as well?
