Veeam Virtual Labs configuration help

Post by tienlamnguyen »

Hello, I need some help on configurating the vitual labs to verify my sharepoint 2013 environement. And as much as I read the user guide over and over again, I am having trouble understanding all the different network settings:

My Production servers (Application groups):
Server #1: Domain controller-DNS - IP:192.168.53.32 - mask: 255.255.255.0 - GW:192.168.53.254
Server #2:Domain controller-DNS - IP:192.268.53.33- mask: 255.255.255.0 - GW:192.168.53.254
Server #3: Database server - IP:192.168.51.75- mask: 255.255.255.0 - GW:192.168.51.254
server #4: Sharepoint server #1 - IP:192.168.49.224- mask: 255.255.255.0 - GW:192.168.49.254
server #4: Sharepoint server #1 - IP:192.168.49.225- mask: 255.255.255.0 - GW:192.168.49.254

Veeam Backup Server 192.168.53.3

In creating the new Virtual Lab what do I put under:

(A) Proxy - Production Network connection ? 192.168.53.x ? on the same network as my veeam server ?
(B)Isolated network - Do i Add my 51 and 49 subnet ?
(C) Network settings: 192.168.53.254 ? GW address of my production network ?

I hope that I am making any sense. Thanks

a) yes mandatory
b) all 3 networks
c) for each network set
- gw ip
- subnet mask
- masquerade network ( anoter ip subnet that you do not use in production
For example 193.168.53.x ...(ignore public ip warning) 193.168.49.x 193.168.51.x
