ReFS as filesystem for local repository

I have to reorganize a local repository of a physical B&R server. I'm thinking of using ReFS for the filesystem. Any ideas on that?

Hello, I would not recommend that, as ReFS is not mature yet - which adds significant risks. Keep in mind that Microsoft is getting ready to ship ReFS 2.0 is Server 2016, so it's a good idea to wait for that one. Thanks!

I wouldn't use that feature, nor would I use Windows 2012 R2 dedup as Microsoft supports only files less than 1 TB to be deduped

just my 2 cents as I've noticed you are looking to use new features of Windows 2012 R2

We do format our volumes with /L as seen here: http://forums.veeam.com/veeam-backup-re ... ml#p110333
No issues noticed so far (formatted about 2 years ago)

In my case (18TB repository) the correct command was: format D: /L /Q /FS:NTFS /A:8192
