VEB use on servers with pre-existing SQL install?

I'm considering VEB for a group of Call Center application servers that have MS SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 installed as part of the application install. Has anyone used VEB in this sort of situation? Will VEB's SQL installation coexist with other SQL installations?

Different SQL Server instances can co-exist on the same machine, so I believe it should work just fine.
