Hi,
i have a few backups of VM which no longer exists on my servers. Aging is a tragedy for some motherboards ...
Is it possible to "generate" a full backup using the last .vbk and the .vib which where made after, some sort of an "export a full backup using the current chain" ?
I could restore the entire VM using last backup point to a server, then make a full backup, and delete uselles backups, but if there's another possibility it could be nice.

Re: Transforming a forward backup chain into a full backup
You can copy those files to additional location, create a backup job, map it to those files, create a backup copy job, selecting the newly created backup job as its source and initiate its cycle. After having done that, there should be a .vbk file created. Thanks.
