Veeamone Alerts - How to find which server sends a alert
Hello All,
We have installed Veeamone free edition in our organization. Veeamone has been sending notifications keep on without mentioning full details. Is there anyway i can find out why the alerts are coming from Veeamone free edition software.
Example below:
Alarm:VM CPU usage
Alarm details are not available with the Free Edition of Veeam ONE.
Upgrade to the full version to get:
•Full email notification for alarms
•Custom alarms and alarm modeling
•Guest process monitoring and management
•Automated report generation
•And more!
Upgrade now for all the capabilities of Veeam ONE.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Ragatry

Hello Ragatry,
Details can be found either in the "Alarms" when standing on the object of the alarm
or in the "Alarm Management" section.

Re: Veeamone Alerts - How to find which server sends a alert
Thanks for the clarification.
Do you mean SMTP server, Veeam One server (if you have several of them) or the machine-object of the alarm?
Check out Notifications settings where you can add custom information to the email notifications and Alarms` settings in Alarm Management.
Thanks!

Indeed, Free version has lots of limitations, but some things can be done. For instance you can set a script to execute when alarm triggers. And you can make the script to send the any information.
Could you answer the question I asked above?

Email notification template cannot be changed in Veeam ONE free edition. If you want to see server name/parent host and other details, you should upgrade to full version of Veeam ONE.

You can set the alarm to run a script once it triggers. And make the script to show an object of the alarm.

Haven`t seen the particular script, since most of our users work with paid version.
Let`s see if somebody in the community did it and wants to share their experience.
