Let's say I have a job called LUN11-Hourly that is a replication job. It runs hourly, only keeping the last 2 copies of data.
Then I made a second job called LUN11-Nightly that is a replication job, It runs every night at 9PM, keeping the last 7 copies of the data.
Would this scenario work okay or would the two jobs get into a fight when it came to removing restore points and the like?

Re: Multiple Replication Jobs for the same VM's?
Jonathan, jobs will have different replica VMs on target and hence completely independent restore point chains (just separate them using definitive replica VM names to be able to easily distinguish between them).

Re: Multiple Replication Jobs for the same VM's?
Bummer, I don't have room on my LUN's to have 2 full replica images of every VM we had in mind, I was hoping both jobs could use the same initial replica image but then manage its own restore points independently.

Then I suggest to re-consider your strategy and switch to a single replica with some sufficient retention settings and probably an additional backup job, if longer retention is required.
