Anything required to continue backup chain after BMR?

Post by LukeAd » 1 person likes this post

First off, let me offer my thanks to Veeam on VEB being such a great product! We've been using VEB for a couple of months now and yesterday our CEO was the first person to need a BMR after something caused his Surface Pro 3 to get into an endless BSOD loop on bootup. The BMR went flawlessly and he's back up and running without a hitch...hooray!

Now that we've performed the BMR, is there anything we need to do on his machine for VEB to continue successfully with its daily backups, or does the existing backup chain just pick up from where it left off and perform the next daily backup normally without any outside intervention?

Hi Luke,
Glad to hear our product saved your day :D

Nope. If the backup job is targeting to the same location as before backup chain should be continued without any issues.
