configure the plain text email format

Post by makovski »

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if it is possible to configure the plain text email format.
İs it possible to add "Details:" (like in HTML format) at the beginning of the event detail part?

Target: TESTSERVER
Status: Error
Object Type: Virtual Machine
Location: vcenter.test
Host: vmtest.test
Time: 1/1/2015 1:11:11 PM
<<Add something here???>> VM snapshot (01012015) size (14 GB) is above a defined threshold (10 GB).

Kind regards,

Meric

Hi Meric,
Yes, you can configure subject of the notification email. You can use several parameters in the notification subject.
Thanks!

Hi Shestakov,

Thx for the reply. We want to configure the body part, not the subject.
As you can see I pasted the body part of the plain text email.

All the lines have heading (example=Target:) but not the alarm detail part at the end.
We need to add Event Detail: or Detail: to the beginning of the last line of body.

It could be nice to configure all body message and add/remove parameters as we want in the future.

Regards,

Meric

Hi Meric,

When you enable checkbox to send email notifications in the plain text, only KB information should be skipped. I will double-check tomorrow how plain text alarms look like.

Thanks!
