Hello everyone. I need some help...
Each night, a backup copy job is doing a synthetic full instead of just incremental. We created the job on 10/26 and starting 10/29, each night has been a synthetic full. The backup job for the single VM is configured to incremental mode (daily) with a synthetic full done each Saturday and is performing as expected. The backup copy job in question is configured to copy once everyday but is doing synthetic fulls which is taking 24+ hours and this doesn't seem right to me. Our other jobs configured the same way do not have this same behavior.
I would like to know why this is happening. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Backup Copy performing synthetic fulls at each copy inte
Brandon, could you please elaborate on what "synthetic full" do you mean here, since backup copy job does not have such an option as it is always incremental?

BTW, what's you retention policy for the backup copy job and how many restore points do you currently have?
