offsite backup

Post by jamerson »

Hi guys,
i am planning to design a backup scenario off site.
we have domain 1 on NY, test.domain.lan with VM1, VM2 , DC, EX, Veeam
Domain 2 in Dallas, test.domain2.lan with VM1, VM2, DC, EX, VEEAM
both sites are using their own domain controllers and own infrastructuur.
my scenario is as following :

create a IPSEC VPN between domain 1 and domain 2 , every weekend do a offsite backup domain 1 to domain 2 share, and domain 2 to domain 1.

is it possible to do so ?

It's possible for sure. Are planning to install one or two backup consoles? Thanks.

Yes, that's what I meant.

Since each machine will be performing two, if not three roles (backup server, default proxy, proxy for a different backup server), make sure they meet combined system requirements.

Thanks.
