Veeam show Restorepoints after recan repository

Post by gmeurb »

Hi all,

we still use VEEAM 8.0.0.2020 (upgraded from Version 7.x) and we have a problem to actualize the number of restorepoints after deleting manual Veeam Backupfiles from Repository and rescan Repository.
The number of Restorepoints are not changing and the system doesn´t know, that this Backupfiles not existing anymore.

Any ideas?

Thanks and regard
Eric

Eric, manual deletion of backup files is not recommended, since Veeam B&R does not know about that. Most likely, information about deleted restore points is still registered in Veeam B&R database and will be there until finally cleaned up according to retention. You can ask support to perform manual database cleanup, though. Thanks.

If you mean Veeam B&R v7, then it had similar behavior in this regard.
