Hi, we currently have a backup job backing up once hourly, along with the backup copy for this job is set to sync every 1 hour.
If we change the copy interval to once daily, and choose to keep 7 restore points, will this then automatically remove the old data and restore points after 7 days?
Also, if we change the settings on the "keep following restore points for archival purposes", will the restore points that are no longer within those parameters be automatically purged too?

Re: Backup copy retention
Freddie, backup copy job has its own retention that is independent from the source backup job. So whatever number of restore points to keep you specify for the backup copy job, it will maintain that amount of restore points on disk. This also applies to GFS retention (the number of weekly/monthly/etc. restore points). Thanks.

Re: Backup copy retention
Okay great, so the generations that are outside the specified restore points to keep will be automatically removed from the cloud storage?
