Reinstall vcentre using existing database

Hi all,

Just a quick one I'm hoping.

We have had our vcentre server crash and it is failing to start.

We've made a backup of it's postgresql database.

If we re-install the vcentre server application and restore the postgresql database will this maintain our morefid on our VM's ?

So that we don't need to initiate a full job of all servers?

Ben, provided the vCenter database is preserved, VM ID's should also be the same and full backup shouldn't be required. Thanks.
