Virtual Machine Notes field

Post by justind »

Hi,

I migrated some test virtual machines from a VMware 5.5 environment to a test 6 environment with the latest patch release. Now when the backup finishes for the migrated virtual machines the notes field does not get updated at the end of the backup anymore.

Is this expected behaviour?

Thanks

Edit: This is Veeam v8

False alarm... I stupidly forgot the "Set annotation" permission for the backup account

The lack of required permissions explains it, so, glad to hear you've found that out. Thank for finding time to update the topic; appreciated.
