Enterprise Manager not showing some SQL instances

We have AAIP set to try but ignore errors on all of our SQL servers. Several of our SQL instances do not appear as a choice under Items -- SQL in EM. We see the backup entries in event viewer on the SQL servers. As well within Veeam B&R job logs we see "creating snapshot" and "removing snapshot". Any ideas on why these SQL instances would not be available in EM? We can see databases available for restore if we use B&R and select SQL items.

I think I have found the answer to my own question. It seems the DBAs forgot to add our SQL backup account as a sysadm on those SQL instances.
