v9: File Copy Jobs from Networkshares/Drives not possible

Hello,

in v8 we created a File Copy Job where the source was a Networkshare/Drive which worked without any problems.
Yesterday we updated B&R to Version 9 and when i want to edit the Job i can see networkshares still in the Sourcelist,
but when i want to add or edit the list, i am only able to select local drives. Was this change made intentionally?

Yes, that's an expected behaviour due to some changes that have been done in v9. As a workaround I can suggest you to add the server that hosts the share you want to copy files from into VBR console as a Windows Server. During File Copy job setup choose that server in "Source" step and add the folder needed to be copied. Let me know if that does not work for you, for any reason.

thanks for the info. i am going to have a try, because it is an allnet nas station which only supports cifs/samba
