Restore - test/verify mode?
Is there a way to test or verify that a restore set is valid? I'd like to run a Restore in 'test' mode to ensure the incremental backup chain is still intact/usable and the restore media reads OK.

Re: Restore - test/verify mode?
Hi Bernard,
Right now there is no way to automate the process in VEB, however you can always start a file level recovery to check that the backup file is fully operational. Additionally, there is a built in health check inside the backup jobs. Whenever the incremental chain is corrupted – backup job won’t continue the existing chain and start a new one with a new full backup.

Re: Restore - test/verify mode?
I see quite a few .vib files (on multiple workstations) with size 30,844 KB that get left behind and never get deleted. I presume they get created (and left behind) when a backup attempt fails. Curious if there's any plans to automatically delete them?

Bernard,
I'd rather open a support case to check, before deleting these .vib’s
