Baseline backup

Post by andrewm »

Hello,

Is it possible with Veeam Backup & Replication to take an on site backup for the initial 'baseline' at sites with slow links?

We currently use Netapp OSSV and are looking at alternative products, with Netapp OSSV it is possible to connect a USB drive, use snapvault to take the baseline backup to the usb disk, then we would take the USB disk back to HQ, upload the backup and take incremental backups from there on in.

Thanks

Andy

Hello Andy and welcome to the forums!

Do you mean seeding by "baseline backup"?

Yes it is possible. Please check the hyperlinks.

Thanks!
