Veeam Quick Migration creates new VeeamBackup datastore?

Post by J@M »

Hi

I tested migration on an unused VM yesterday and it worked fine - so backup, instant recovery, then migration - it was migrated to a different datastore

However, I notice that the Instant VM recovery job continues to run? I right clicked on it and selected end session, or stop session, but this action dismounts the VM?

Can anyone clarify if this is correct behaviour?

Thanks

Jason

So, Jason, is everything up and running now? Or you still have some issues or uncertainties related to Quick Migration functionality? Thanks.

Jason, you can use the Delete source VM files upon successful migration check box to finalize the IR session after the migration.
