Linux backup question

Hello

We have a backup storage for Windows and Linux backup via Veeam, can Veeam backup Linux image to storage and then restore them ?

Hello, yes, we support any OS which is supported by VMware.

There is absolutely no difference from how you backup and replicate Windows VM.

Hi

I think Veeam can backup/replica Linux MySQL/Email and Linux cannot use VSS, right ?

That's correct, VSS is only available in Windows. You should use VMware quiescence instead (enabled by default). Backing up transactional applications like email or database running on Linux requires using scripts to perform quiescence, please search forum for "prefreeze posthaw" for more information.
