Hi.
Is it possible to get the backup job status out from restul api instead of using veeam one?
We are just using veeam one trial for seeing the backup job status as widget, but it is some overkill to buy veeam one just for the backup status reporting

Hi Frank. You can maybe use /vmRestorePoints and check if the restore point is older than your desired RPO, and use that as an indication? Otherwise, you are obviously free to begin parsing the job session logs.

What if you get Job ID and then query backupSessions to find our the latest one. Once it's found, you can check both its State and Result. Isn't that what you're looking for? Thanks.

Just make sure you check if the recent job session is a retry, and if true create a loop that iterates through all the retries and the failed session for the full overview

I think we'll stich to Veeam One and the widget...

Looking forward to the veeam management portal so we can check all our customers status with a singel pane of glass hopefully.

Perhaps I should create a turnkey wordpress which supports this widgets too
