report "Over-provisioned Datastores" shows over-provisioning

Hi,

above mentioned report is telling me that a csv is over-provisioned. the csv has 30TB, there is one vhdx with a max capacity of 30TB, and the iscsi volume below is also 30TB in size. I know that this won´t match exactly when the vhdx reaches its maximum, but apart from that: the report keeps telling me a provisioned space of 49 TB. Where do the remaining 19TB come from? Any guesses?

Hmm... and when you say that there is vhdx disk with a max capacity of 30TB. Is it a dynamic disk or static?

it´s a dynamic vhdx, currently at 26TB

Got it! In order to nail down to either this report or collection job, can you please generate custom infrastructure report for this datastore (with provisioned/used columns). Additionally, virtual disk configuration report for this VM would also help. You can do that via custom infrastructure report as well. If all numbers match from "over-provisioned report" and the ones that you've generated, then collection job debug logs review will be required. Our support team can assist you with this task.
