Reverse incremental along with per VM backup

Hi,

I had discussions with my colleague on backup mode.
With Per VM backup option in Veeam9, is reverse incremental a better and faster option than the default Incremental one?
I would appreciate all thoughts on this

Per-VM backup chains do not change anything in terms of I/O ratio between backup modes.
