Running a script

I know you guys are going for "simple" above all other things with this product (that's a different topic for a different day), but I think you really need a little more functionality here. This product could really use an option to fire off a script after job completion (unless there is a way to do this that I'm missing). Also, the options for scheduling are not robust enough. Why can't I schedule a job for once a week instead of nightly? (I really HATE the way the whole IT industry is moving to a philosophy of fisher-price interfaces for idiots.)

Hi PSI-INDY,

You can do both via scripting actually. Trigger the backup to start via cmd any time you like and then add to your custom backup scrip a post job activity. Check this Help Center article how to start a backup via cmd - you can use any custom scripting around this option.
