Hi
I have a backupjob with several clients, that runs a backup every night.
But now I need to disable backup for one of those clients tonight.
The clients are added with VM tag to the backup job policy.
I know I can disable the backup job, but that will stop them all.
Can I just remove the VM tag for the one client, and just add it tomorrow again, and still keep my backup full incl. the incrementals, and just continue like nothing happened to it?

Re: Stop one client backup
Kasper, how about temporarily placing this client's VM's into exclusions (using the tag, for example)?

Re: Stop one client backup
Problem is that the tag is used by all the other clients in the policy. So they would all get excluded.
Or could I add the VM itself to the exclude list, and then that would overrule everything else?

Sure, I thought you were talking about all VMs belonging to one of the customers. You can add a single VM into exclusions for sure.
