Deploy architecture for replicate guest image

Post by meristema »

Hello guys,
I 've a server HP proliant DL380 host with VMware vSphere 6 and I would like to make job for replicate my vmware guest server to another server used only for failover. My RPO requirement is not hard because my aim is, in case of recovery, start quickly backup guest machine from last night and maintain only last 7 point of restore.

So I think for implement this architecture need only two servers and veeam B&R standard, but your skills and experience can help me for best deployment.

Thanks very much for any tips and advice.

Keep in mind that 1-click failover orchestration as well as SureReplica (to verify your replicas) require B&R Enterprise.

Yes, for your purpose Veeam B&R Standard is enough. BTW, are you going to replicate over the WAN or within the same infrastructure (LAN)?
