Account needed to truncate logs

Post by trackstar »

Hello,

I have been using my personal account (credential) for the Exchange 20010 backup. I like to switch to an assigned account that we already have. Would an account that we have been using to truncate the logs on the domain controllers machine work? Basically, what kind of privileges needed for the Exchange machine?

Thanks,
TT

Hello, it has to be the Local Administrator of your Exchange server. Thanks!
