vCenter vm control commands

Hi,

Maybe odd question but are there plans to implement virtual machine control commands from the infrastructure view in the console of Veeam ?

we would like to see : stop, start, delete, remote console as basic features.

(maybe also an idea for RDP regarding windows components)

Sure,

We like to use Central management from the backup console. For example delete a virtual machine when you decide to do a complete vm restore.
Like Veeam one has the option of opening a console and viewing processes of vms, we like some basic vm features for administration.

We are exploring the possibility of providing a Veeam backup instance in vCloud director without providing customers the ability to login directly into vCenter. When performing a failover from on premises VMWare environment to the vCloud environment, vCloud director is not directly aware of the new vm, without enforcing vCloud Director to import these vms in the organization. When having some basic controls like console from the Veeam console, this would help us a lot, until vCloud director is replication aware

Can you please tell me why don't you want to use Veeam ONE, as it seems that it does exactly what you want?

For remote console purposes this fits. To remove a virtual machine, we still need vCenter access.

Ok, speaking about other management tasks (such as removal), what other tasks do you want to see in our products and what's the use case for having a removal option either in Veeam B&R or Veeam ONE?
