Endpoint on Server 2012 R2

Post by orgChris »

Hi,

How successful is Endpoint on Server 2012 r2? I have a new server with a fresh install of OS in December 2015. Installed Endpoint and only managed to get about a weeks worth of backups before it stops and the only work around is to reboot the server.

I've installed monthly MS patches, and updated Endpoint to the latest version (1.5.0.306), and still no luck.

I opened a case (01683916) a while ago and uploaded multiple logs and the case is now closed because of the delays between the errors. I've opened a new case (01753876), but if anyone else has any ideas, let me know.

Thanks.

Never had a problem. Ever.

Sorry that this does not help you though.

Hi orgChris,

Did you see any error/warning in the Control Panel > Backup session details? Do you have any AV software installed on the same machine (you may need to white list the VEB in the AV rules)?
