Feature request

Post by frankive »

A managed portal for Veeam One like we have for backup would be great.
A single pane of glass to monitor all external customers without VPN and "fat" Veeam One clients for each customer.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for this feature request. How many Veeam ONE servers are you running for your clients? Just a ballpark number.

Thanks!

We sell the av. suite so we install one server at each customer. then do vpn and fighting our way to try to have a good view of all of our customers.
lets say 15-20 customers.

Ok! What are the top 3 features you would like to see in the portal? Triggered alarms, what else?

1. It would be Nice to see a consolidated alarm section for all customers (like the alarm section)
2. Be able to drill Down into the Customer for more details
3. A delicios and Consolidated alert view optimized for HD resolution so we can use at Our Wall-screens from 5-7 M away on 55" screens :)

Good! Any reports that you also want to see or alarms (health information) should be enough?

That depends on if a future solution would be an off-sice agent to monitor (without Veeam One) or f it was just an extension and a single pane of flass console for multiple Veeam One servers.
I think the reports in the Veeam One server is excellent so what we want with a feature request is to just have a single pane to see if anything is wrond, and if that is the case, we will anyway log on to the customer and start working with deeper analysis with Veeam One.

But a feature request 2.0 would be to not have a local Veeam One installation at all, just an agent on a computer on a network which colleceted this data to a central cloud console, for all customers. :)
