SQL Server - Transaction log - exclude certain time?

Post by VanillaMastermind » 2 people like this post

Is there any way to exclude certain timeframes for SQL Server transaction log backups? For example, back up the logs every 15 minutes, but not from 1am-3am for integrity checks, data loads, etc...

I don't see any way except temporary disabling the job via script.

You try one of these script examples to do that for SQL Server transaction log backup job > Auto-stop job schedule and Code to enable/disable Backup Jobs

How do I get this turned into a feature request? This seems like something a lot of people would be interested in. It would be nice to have this configurable within Veeam, instead of managing separate settings through PowerShell.

This topic is already a feature request, nothing else needs to be done on your part :D
