Unable to install Veeam Backup & Replication Console on W10

Post by albertwt »

Hi All,

I'm running Microsoft Windows 1511 [Version 10.0.10586] and trying to install the Veeam Backup & Replication Console only, but I always getting the below error:
---------------------------
Veeam Backup & Replication Console
---------------------------
Setup cannot be launched, as the computer is waiting for restart.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
So I'm not sure if this is due to the compatibility or bug in Windows 10 ?

I have already reboot my laptop several times and double check with Windows Update, but there is nothing asking me for a reboot.

May I ask you to provide a screenshot of the following registry hive. Most specifically, its content:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager
Thanks.

Is there subdirectory named FileRenameOperations? If so, what is the default value that is specified in it? Isn't equal to zero by any chance? Thanks.
