Check for VM's not covered by Veeam

Post by B.F. »

We have large amount of VM's and it appears it's only going to keep growing.

Question: Is if there a way to somehow quick glance if any of the VM's (VMWare) are not either being backed up or replicated by Veeam. I was hoping to be able to see such report or dashboard view in BEM but I'm not seeing it.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, there is a way to generate a report to see which VMs are not protected (as well as receive alarms for missed RPOs), but you should be running Veeam Availability Suite for this > Protected VMs

Thanks!

Then I would suggest installing free trial version of Veeam ONE v9 and check how it suits your needs.

Note that Veeam Essentials have it included as well.

Take a look at the PS scripts provided in this thread; might be of some help. Thanks.
