pipeline timeout when restoring large VMs

Post by EBoucq »

Hi,

When I try to restore large VMs (> 1 TB) using direct SAN or LAN, I always get a "Pipeline timeout: it seems that pipeline hanged" in the log and the restore fails.
I will probably have a to open a case but before that I'd like to know in what direction I should search the issue: ESXi ? Datastores ? Veeam server ?

Thanks,
Eric

Eric, opening a case is recommended, logs contain more details on where to pay your attention.

Hi,

I'm still stuck with this restore. Got contacted by the support 5 days ago but it didn't sort the problem out.
Thanks.

Case closed thanks to Ivan.
He sent me a modified Veeamagent.exe that solved my problem.

Thank you guys !
